The staff were helpful and friendly. My breakfast was individually cooked and was excellent. The rooms were clean and quiet.
The bar prices were rather inflated. I did not like having the large screen TV permanently on, but that's just a personal preference.
The Potters International is on the outskirts of Aldershot and makes an excellent base for visiting armed forces personnel based in the town. It's an excellent hotel situated in a lovely secluded area. We often visit Aldershot and wouldn't hesitate to use it again.
This hotel is how hotels used to be. The price was excellent versus comfort and service we received. The hotel went out of its way to make us happy and when we had to extend our stay at late notice they took it in their stride. Also, not having to pay your bill before you received any kind of service is also as it should be. Great hotel/Great stay.
Good breakfast. Free parking. Double bed was a good size (I had booked twin beds!)
On arriving we were greeted with 'are you alright there?' Whatever happened to 'Good evening, can I help?' Only one set of towels. Took three requests before a very pleasant and helpful receptionist produced a set from a room behind reception in seconds. Bedside table had been used as a table for television so had to put tele on the floor. Beware of unfixed bathroom shelf which restricts access to washbasin.
Big bed friendly helpful staff, pool and gym etal were good
Lack of choice in the resterant and bar for food
The staff were friendly. The cook was able to serve me an off menu dish for dinner, when requested.
Very limited Menu, esp for vegetarians. Grumbled to serve Omlette in the morning breakfast. The Room was clean enough though the Iron Board cover really needed a change. Not much TV Channels.
Clean, good sized room and very large bed, hot drink provision in room, excellent breakfast, and plenty, near to our destination, good general overall impression of room with pleasant coloured bedspread and general decor which was pleasing on the eye. Good value for money
Slightly too warm in room, but no real inconvenience, we tend to prefer a slightly colder temperature, so we opened the window
No late bar on the Saturday night.
Prompt and courteous both booking in and out. Clean, well presented and comfortable room
The Sunday morning breakfast was quite chaotic. The flasks used for tea and coffee contained both but not separately ! At breakfast the previous day we were asked on arrival at the dining room what drink we wanted, tea or coffee and it was delivered promptly to the table. There was insufficient toast and quite a large queue formed.
The courtesy from Staff and the freindly recption.
Good room with bathroom. Comfortable.
Lack of airconditioning. Parts of this hotel need modernising. The quality of breakfast is poor particularly for the high price charged. Hotel appeared to have no record of my booking, to begin with (which can be rather stressful)
Perfect rooms, perfect beds, clean, cheap, lots of things to do.
The room and bed were excellent however I think I was upgraded to a suite for no extra charge! The discounted rate I received made it excellent value.
very good high standest hotel with first class food
